What file format should I use for my submission?

We prefer to receive submissions as JPEG, PSD or PDF files - that includes text only submissions. Please make sure the resolution is 300 DPI or higher.

How long can my submission be?

Between 1 and 5 pages is strongly encouraged, and we absolutely cannot accept submissions longer than 8 pages.

You misspelled my name/messed up my submission/forgot my link, what gives??

Whoa, sorry! Please contact us about any errors or oversights as soon as possible so that we can correct them in subsequent printings. We try our best not to make mistakes, but we are only human after all.

I just missed the submission deadline, should I still submit?

Submissions must be received by the 23rd of each month to guarantee consideration. That said, we do look at late submissions and sometimes include them if we have extra pages to fill. Please try to be punctual.

You accepted my submission, hooray! So how do I get my 2 copies of the zine?

Local contributors are encouraged to attend the release party for the issue, where they can pick up their free copies and meet fellow contributors. Release party dates will be announced here on our website, through our Google group, and on Facebook.

If you're living outside Portland, or you simply can't attend the release party, please email your address to Katie Ash and she will put your copies in the mail.
